In recent months residents have expressed concern about the poor lighting on Brennanstown Ave, from the Old Bray Rd to the Cabinteely Stream.

Brennanstown Residents Association, on behalf of residents the have in recent weeks been working with local councillors and DLRCC to address the matter.

We can confirm that Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council’s lighting dept have today upgraded the street lights in question with LED lamps.

This upgrade will mean a significant improvement in visability for both motorists and pedestrians on the Avenue.

We would like to thank the lighting dept for engaging with us on this matter and addressing the issue in such a speedy manner.
