Several residents have been in touch with the residents association about the car park that’s “popped up” in the last week on Brennanstown Avenue.

Update – We’ve been reliably informed that the plot of land being used as a car park is owned by Tudor Homes.

This particular plot of land is managed by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, we have contacted the council on three separate occasions in the last week asking for clarification on who is permitted to use the space and if they can confirm how long it will be used for this purpose.

Members of the public are using the space as an alternative to to parking in the village.

Please drive with care on the Avenue as vehicles are entering and exiting the car park throughout the day.

We’ll update residents if and when we hear back from the council.
