Opening This Weekend – The Brennanstown Little Free Library

The Residents Association Committee are delighted to announce that we are launching the “Brennanstown Little Library” this weekend.

The Brennanstown Little Free Library will be located at the green fence close to Cabinteely stream.

The Brennanstown Little Library is completely free to use and has books suitable for all ages (even grown ups!)

What Is A Little Free Library?

A Little Free Library is a “take a book, return a book” free book exchange. Anyone may take a book or bring a book to share.

Little Free Library book exchanges have a unique, personal touch. There is an understanding that real people are sharing their favorite books with their community; Little Libraries have been called “mini-town squares.”

Can Anyone Use The Brennanstown Little Free Library? Do I Have To Return Books I Take?

Yes, anyone may contribute or take books. The more the merrier! If you take a book from our Library, you do not need to return that exact book. However, in order to keep the Little Library full of good choices for the whole neighborhood, the next time you swing by the Library bring a few books to share.

Little Library book exchanges function on the honour system; everyone contributes to ensure there are always quality books inside. This way, we all win!

The Brennanstown Little Free Library steward is Jenny Mangan.

We’d would like to thank our fellow committee member Mark who built our little library. He’s done an amazing job.

Brennanstown resident and Illustrator / Cartoonist will be on hand drawing some of your favourite book characters.
