Neighbourhood Watch Update

As you may know there have been some security issues in recent weeks.

There was a break in last week at Brennanstown Court and an attempted break in at Brennanstown Avenue.

The have also been several incidents of anti social behaviour and criminal damage by a very small number of children.

Members of the residents association committee met with the community garda earlier this week. There will be increased patrols in Brennanstown by the Gardaí in the weeks ahead.

The RA committee are also working with the managing agents (Andersons) to improve security in Brennanstown. More details will be shared next week.

As the evenings get dark the Gardaí stressed the importance of taking some very simple steps to secure your home. The community garda said that lighting up your home on dark evenings is the best deterrent, timers on your lights are cheap and very effective.

If you see something or someone suspicious please contact the Gardaí at Cabinteely on 01 6665400.

Please feel free to contact the residents association if you have any questions or concerns.

If any residents are interested in installing cameras inside or outside their home, the Blink system is excellent. It’s on sale this weekend with 20% off.
