Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council have given permission again for the 367 units at Brennanstown Estate (DZ18A/0208) which had been the subject of a judicial review.

On 4 Jan 2020, the High Court quashed the earlier DLR decision to Grant permission. Now DLR have taken just a few weeks to consider the application again and have decided to Grant permission subject to a number of conditions.

Another application for a slightly smaller number of 342 units was submitted for the same site on 11th November 2019 (DZ19A/0863) and it was granted permission by DLR on 14 Jan 2020 subject to a number of conditions.

There are now two separate applications granted for the same site in recent weeks. We don’t know which application will proceed and ultimately be built.
