Cabinteely Tidy Towns were very successful in the National SuperValu Tidy Towns Competition 2019 which were awarded this week.

Cabinteely were awarded a Silver Medal and a County Commended Award.
In the County of Dublin, there were a total of 39 entrants across 8 categories. The points ranged from 200 for Portobello to 338 for Skerries. Cabinteely received the third highest number of points in Dublin. The top 3 scores in Dublin were as follows:-

Skerries 338
Dalkey 336
Cabinteely 331

The Adjudicator’s Report includes the following comment about the Brennanstown Estate:-

All estates are nicely managed in respect of green areas, trees, nature areas, however pride of place must go to the Brennanstown residential complex for all aspects of its presentation.

The Brennanstown Residents Association Committee would like to thank residents that have given up their Saturday mornings and participated in our monthly clean ups.

We’re delighted that residents hard work has been recognised by the tidy towns judges. We would also like to thank the Tidy Towns volunteers for their help and support.

Our monthly clean up takes place on the first Saturday of the month. We meet at Cabinteely stream at 10.30am, residents are always welcome to join us.
